Follow the Traffic ....!

Yesterday I had gone to Richie Street (an illegal goods haven) in Mount Rd with my friend Shriram (he's with the Merchant Navy). We had gone to buy an external USB hard disk for him, and we, after a lot of scouring around, got a 120GB Western Digital HDD for 3600 - from a shop called Oasis Network (the Bai Shop!).

Elated with our nice bargain, we were returning home on his Honda Activa and were constantly chatting through the journey that we lost our way !!!! Imagine, we lost our way in the most famous, crowded route in Chennai and we didn't realise we have lost the way and we kept on driving.

Well, soon it dawned on us that we have somehow landed ourselves in alien territory ! Well, the Rishi to the rescue - "Follow the Traffic" was the golden rule that spouted from his blessed lips!!! (I know its a little sad, but after all its my blog !). Since Chennai was getting crowded and crowded, there is traffic everywhere ! So, what we did, followed a stream of vehicles which we chose intuitively and decided to rely on that traffic to take us to a known territory !

We followed the chosen traffic, it turned, twisted, halted, screeched, honked and suddenly the traffic liquidated, each vehicle of the stream diverted ! Again we were stranded - in the search for another stream - Lo! there was another traffic stream going nearby, so - followed we it !~

Like this we were doing for some 30 mins, constantly jumping from one stream to another !, in the end we landed up at a signal on G.N.Chetty Road - a known territory !! From then on, we rode back home amidst a huge amount of traffic !!

A nice time, but we could have just asked an auto driver for the direction, but - see, am a researcher and would like to test my ideas - "Follow the Traffic" - a nice coarse rule, if you do not know Tamil, this rule is a safe bargain - you will definitely reach your destination but it will take a lot of time !!

"FOLLOW THE TRAFFIC" - only on the road, in life - you take your own stream and if someone decided to follow your path, that's your ultimate victory !!
